Pediatric Basic Disaster Life Support (PBDLS) is a custom program developed and trademarked by R-S-I to prepare responders to meet the needs of pediatric patients during a disaster. Kansas Emergency Medical Services for Children contracted R-S-I to conduct this program across the state to better give responders the tools to support the welfare of children during probably the worst day of their life. Several other states have had PBDLS presented to their responders.
